Street’ opens

Street “(Gaslight) opens
Thursday, Feb. 12. Show
dates are: Feb. 12, 13, 14,
15, 19, 20, 21.
Writtten by Patrick
Hamilton, “Angel Street”
was a Broadway hit first
produced in London under
the title "Gaslight" and
filmed twice. It tells the
story of the Manninghams
in the 19th century. It is
soon apparent that Mr.
Manningham, a suavely
sinister and handsome
man, is slowly torturing
his gentle, devoted wife,
Bella, into insanity under
the guise of kindness.
The secret of the dimming
gaslight and the mystery
of the hidden rubies will
captivate ah.

Industrial park at
rec department?
WHO: Anyone interested in
open government is invited.
WHAT: Organizational meeting for
citizens opposed to plans for an industrial
park at the intersection of Hwy. 42 and Fairview
Church Road behind the rec department.
WHEN: 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5
WHERE: Fairview Church on Fairview Church Road
WHY: To gather information and prepare to try to get information at the
Development Authority meeting set for 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
The authority is working behind closed doors to put an industrial park
in a residential neighborhood. We think there are probably better places
for an industrial park.
