Opportunities for county’s Christians to unite
BY DARRELL
WATSON
FIRST BAPTIST
CHURCH
On the second Thursday
of each month, the minis
ters of the Monroe County
churches are invited to
Anne’s Deli at 8 a.m. for
the Monroe County
Ministerial meeting. For
an hour to an hour and a
half, those gathered meet,
eat, plan and fellowship
together. The Monroe
County Ministerial
Association’s mission is to
advance God’s Kingdom
within Forsyth/Monroe
County churches, commu
nity, and government by
promoting an ecumenical
spirit, ethnic harmony, and
encouraging the body of
Christ to join together in
worship, prayer, and serv
ice to our community and
hospitality to transients.
Though there are a strong
group of ministers and
churches already involved,
the door is always open to
any minister and/or church
that are currently not a
part to become so.
Above is stated our mis
sion. Below is listed our
works. It is through these
services that we seek to
live out our mission state
ment. Please find listed
