with over 100 students in
Macon Jan. 30 and Feb. 3
to earn new ranks. The
following students were
allowed to advance:
Christopher Slaughter -
Tiger Cub with a brown
stripe. George Seagraves
advanced two ranks grad
uating from the Tiger
Cub Program. Ava Adams
and Hugh Dorsey Sosebee
III earned yellow belts.
Kristel Aguiluz earned
her green belt. Alice
Menefee, Brent Howard
and Spencer Sexton
earned a senior green
belt. Jaiyla Harpe, Jasmine Harpe,
Ethan Jackson, and Jillian Jackson
earned blue belts. Daniel Jones
earned his senior red belt. Byron
Coleman advanced to probationary
1st degree black belt. Logan Walker
advanced to 3rd degree black belt
level 1, and his father Rick Walker
advanced to 3rd degree black belt
level 4.
Cassandra Hensel will be testing
for her 4th degree black belt in front
of the region’s 6th Degree Masters on
Friday, March 12 prior to the spring
tournament. She has been training
for this event since her 5th birthday.
Darius Middleton, 13 years of age,
and Kyle Hensel, 15 years of age, will
be testing to become junior certified
instructors.

The Monroe County Board of Commissioner has tentatively
adopted the 2009 budget. It can be viewed at the Monroe
County Commissioners'Office between the hours of 8:30 am-
4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing Thurs
day, March 5th at 6:00 p.m. at which time any persons
wishing to be heard on the budget may appear. The hearing
will be held at the Monroe County Commissioners' Office
Conference Room, County Annex Building, 38 West Main St.
Forsyth, Georgia.
The Board of Commissioners of Monroe County will hold a
public hearing during their regular session on March 17th at
6:00 to adopt the 2009 budget. The meeting will be held at
the Monroe County Commissioners'Office Conference Room,
