Dr. Clell Morris and his staff are ready to collect candy for
the troops.
Morris sponsors
candy buy-back
Halloween is coming and with it lots of candy. Once
again Dr. Clell M. Morris and the team at his dental
office at 94 N. Bennett Street in Forsyth will buy back
candy from kids.
The idea is for parents to let trick-or-treaters have a
few treats and stash a few away, but bring the rest to
Dr. Morris, and let him pay the children for it. The
candy will be shipped overseas to courageous soldiers
serving our country. In return Dr. Morris will give the
children $1 per pound of donated candy and a Firefly
flashing toothbrush, along with other prizes. This
Cash for Candy Program is a great way to teach local
young people charity and show support for our troops
at the same time. It will be easier to donate the candy
if the children know it will cheer up our brave men
and women who are away from their families.
Dr. Morris’ staff will provide a card for each child to
sign and send along with the candy. Kids should still
dress up, go out, have fun, and eat some candy. Let
them pick out their favorites and share the rest.
Spread the word about Cash for Candy in support of
our troops and bring the children and their wrapped
candy to the dental office on Tuesday, Nov. l,from 3-6
p.m. For more information, call 478) 994-0440.
