RULES

“Tie Breaker.” This will be used only if there is an
otherwise unbreakable tie.

or bring it to the office at

Entries must be postmarked or in The Reporter office by noon on the Fri
day following publication date.
4. You may enter in your own name or other members of
your family. However, only one entry per name will
be accepted.
5. Members of The Monroe County Reporter staff and their
immediate families are not eligible to compete.
6. Make sure your name, address and phone number is written on the
face of the entry form.
7. In the event of repeat winners, $10 cash prize will be given.

Mary Persons
at Cairo
Norman Jean Mitchell won this week’s Pigskin Picks and the $20 prize and T-shirt
by going 8-2 this week. Mary Persons student Keegan George tied at 8-2 but nar
rowly lost the tiebreaker. Mitchell had the Bulldogs winning 31-21.
This is the last week of Pigskin Picks so for your chance to win, make your picks
by circling the winners on page 4B. The one submitted by 5 p.m. Friday with the
best score wins.
Among celebrity pickers, “Dangerous” Daron Fears caught Eric “Not So
Dangerous” Bunn at 93-27 heading into the final week by going 8-2, to Bunn’s 7-3.
Fears was the only picker to see UCLA beating Southern Cal.
This year’s Celebrity Pickers are editor Will Davis, sports editor Richard Dumas,
hospital CEO Kay Floyd, insurance man Eric Bunn, dentist Dr. Clell Morris, funeral
