Reconciliation
House will deliver
Christmas dinners
Volunteers from
Reconciliation House will
again deliver Christmas
dinners and cheer to
homes on Christmas day.
The church invites individ
uals, churches, businesses,
and other groups who
would like to contribute to
this mission to donate
canned goods, breads,
desserts, meats, drinks,
utensils, napkins, and
compartment hinged lid
containers. Cash donations
to purchase items for the
meals are tax deductible.
Reconciliation House
welcomes volunteers to
plate up the food on
Monday, Dec. 24, and driv
ers who are willing to give
up some of their holiday to
deliver on Christmas
morning.

needs volunteers
The Salvation Army is
looking for volunteers in
the Monroe County area to
ring the bell at our Super
Walmart on North Lee
Street during the
Christmas season. Please
contribute to one of the
greatest non-profit organi
zations in the world by
volunteering for a day or
just a few hours to make a
difference in the communi
ty. Volunteers are needed
each day, Monday through
Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 8
p.m., beginning Nov. 24
through Dec. 24.
Volunteers are asked to
work in two to four-hour
increments, and we wel
come church groups.

this fascinating look at the
birth of Jesus Christ.
