Three pickers, Mat Mitchell, Randall Fountain and G. Shirley Myers tied for
first place all at 9-1. Mitchell won the tiebreaker and gets a $20 gift card to
Jonah’s and a T-shirt. Fountain got second place and the $15 card to Shoney’s.
Among our Celebrity Pickers, Dr. Stan Hickman won for the second week in a
row by going 8-2, putting him in a tie with Julious Stroud for fourth place.
Fifth grader Park Davis was tied for first place with Murray the Dog, but he
took sole possession of first place by going 7-3, while Murray went 6-4 and
dropped into a three-way tie for second place with Ashley Marie and Tony
Ussery, all of whom are just one game behind Davis. The pickers are arranged
in order of their records.
This year celebrity pickers are Murray the Unofficial MP Bulldog Mascot,
Tony Ussery, Erin Cook, David White, Carl Whitaker, Ashley Marie Barrett, Dr.
Stan Hickman, Julius Stroud, Wes Cone and youth picker Park Davis. These
“celebrities” pick games to see who will have the best record at the end of the
season. Winning contestants receive a free T-shirt and a $20 gift card from
Jonah’s Pizza. Second prize is $15 card from Shoney’s in Forsyth. Let’s go!
