rising 5th through 7th
grade students. Camps
and events begin on
Tuesday, June 7th with
a tour of the World of
Coca-Cola in Atlanta.
All programs are
low-cost—from $3 to

Department. Those who
register will get a read
ing log sheet and stick

Sciences in Macon, a
treat, a toy and a calen

bringing the Pumptrack
Demo Tour to the City
Park, 341 Country Club
Drive, on Monday, June
13 from 12 noon to 3
p.m. American Ramp
Company will set up an
all-wheel pumptrack for
all ages. Bring bikes,
skateboards or scooters
and try it out. There
will also be free hot
dogs, drinks, bounce
house and waterside.

the hot dog dinner at

at 7 p.m. As part of
the BINGO fun, there
will be lots of prizes
- prizes for the game
winners and between-
game door prize draw

generously donated a
$150 VISA gift card for
the Grand Prize to end
the evening. Tickets $36

recruits for 60 jobs
On Tuesday, June 7, the Georgia
Department of Labor (GDOL) will
help Automation Personnel Services
recruit more than 60 maintenance
mechanics and food production work
ers to work in Butts County. The
recruitment will be held from 10 a.m.
to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Griffin Career
Center, 1514 Highway 16 West.
All applicants must be at least 18
years old. A high school diploma, or a
General Education Diploma (GED), is
required for the maintenance mechan
ics position, and two years of experi
ence is preferred, but not required.
There are no education or experience
requirements for the food production
positions.
All positions are temporary, but
may lead to full-time opportuni
ties. Salaries range from $18-$20 an
hour for maintenance mechanics and
$9-$9.50 an hour for food production
workers.
