The 27th Annual
Hometown Holidays
parade will be
Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7
p.m. through downtown
Forsyth. The theme
will be ‘A Christmas
Miracle on Main
Street.’ Pick a site for
viewing and bring fam
ily and friends to kick
off the Holiday season
with bands, floats,
dancers, local celebrities
and, of course, Santa
Claus!

The City of Forsyth
Tree Lighting will be
at the conclusion of the
Hometown Holidays
Parade on Dec. 1. Santa
will be at City Hall to
talk with children from
4:30-6:30 p.m. before
the parade. Parents are
encouraged to bring
cameras.

Christmas Parade
The 25th Annual
Bolingbroke Christmas
Parade will be
Saturday, Dec. 3 at
3 p.m. It will travel
Rivoli Road through
beautiful downtown
Bolingbroke with Santa
and Mrs. Claus as the
grand finale. Mr. and
Mrs. Claus will be in
Santa’s Workshop in
Bolingbroke to visit
with children after the
parade. Pre-parade
festivities begin at 2
p.m. and include a
cake walk, snacks and
drinks. Bring a lawn
chair to stake a spot for
viewing the parade. For

Juliette’s Christmas
Open House will be

Missions
“Marketplace for
Missions” will be
at Forsyth United
Methodist Church, 68
W. Johnston St. on
Saturday, Dec. 3 from
10 a.m.-3 p.m. There
will be vendors with
handmade goods and
vendors with Thirty-
One, Lula Roe, Rodan
and Fields, Usborne
Books and Le-Vel
(thrive). The entry fee
will be a canned good
that will go to the food
bank. Each person who
brings a canned good
will be entered into the
raffle for door prizes.
The event will benefit
missions. If interested

Tour of Homes
Butts County
Historical Society
will sponsor a Tour of
Homes and Historic
Sites from 1-5 p.m.
on both Saturday and
Sunday, Dec. 3 and
4. The tour includes
15 homes and historic
sites (circa 1823-1913)
located in Indian
Springs, Flovilla and
Jackson. Tickets are

will also be free Youth
Choral programs at
the Indian Springs
Amphitheatre from 5-6
p.m. on both Saturday

Fine Arts Center in

will benefit the Backlot
Players’ 300 Roses
Capital Campaign. The
concert will be one of
the first events held at
the brand new 1,188
seat Monroe County
Fine Arts Center.
