SouthemSt)le Quartet
SouthernStyle Quartet will be in
concert at Russellville Baptist Church
on February 18 during the morning
worship hour.
The quartet consists of Terry Baker
of Forsyth, Roger Freeman of Gray,
and Kristin and Danny Fitzgerald
of McDonough. All have performed
gospel music for many years with
other groups before coming together
as the SouthenStyle Quartet.
The concert will be during the 11
a.m. worship service. A love offering
will be taken for the group. Rus
sellville Baptist Church is located on
Russellville Road just off Georgia
Highway 42 south, aout 15 minutes
from downtown Forsyth.
Annual Ladies Night. Out
Bunco on Saturday, Feb.
10 at 6 p.m. This year
the event will be at the
Gallery 51 building at 51
W. Adams Street, across
from Circle of Care. As
well as Bunco, there will
be food and beverages,
and vendors will provide
shopping opportunities
for jewelry, accessories,
clothing and more.
Admission for the eve
ning is $2 5/person. The
fee for a vendor’s table
is $50. All proceeds pro

Mary Persons needs volunteers
for Mock Interview Days
Mary Persons needs
adults in the community
who can give at. least, two
hours of their time on
Wednesday or Thursday,
Feb. 21 or 22 to help stu
dents prepare for the real
world of job interviews.
Mary Persons will hold
its 1st. Mock Interview
Days for juniors and
seniors completing
their third course in the
CTAE (Career, Technical,
Agricultural Education)
career pathway, and
interviewers are needed.
Volunteers should sign
up for shifts on Feb. 21
and 22 of 8-10 a.m., 10
a.m.-12 p.m.; or 1-3 p.m.
No preparation is needed.
Interviewers will receive
a general list, of interview
questions and a rubric to
score the students.
This project, is intended
to teach students the
importance of profession
alism in getting a job and
will prepare students for
the future.
Students should be able
to answer the following
questions: Why is having
a professional resume
important? What, types
of information should
you include on a resume?
How is a job application
different, from a resume?
Why are first, impressions
important, during the job
interview process?
It. will take a number
of community volunteers
to make this a success
ful experience for the

Wu takes 1st in State Beta Club competition
