We wish to commend Judge
Thomas H. Wilson for the clarity
and thoroughness of his charge
to our body and for the dignity
and efficiency with which court
proceedings are conducted.
We wish to express our
appreciation to the District
Attorney, Jonathan Adams, and
his staff for the competent and
courteous manner in which they
have handled all matters brought
before us. Also, we wish to thank
our Bailiff, Chester Grant, for his
courteous help.
We wish to commend the Clerk
of Superior Court, Lynn Ham,
and her staff for assistance to
this Grand Jury.

Sheriff John Cary Bittick, the
investigators and deputies of the
Monroe County Sheriff’s Office
for their very effective service
and outstanding protection to
the people of Monroe County.

FORSYTH/REZONING
The Mayor and Council of the
City of Forsyth will consider and
the public may be heard as to
an ordinance providing for the
alteration and amendment of a
zoning district and the zoning
map of the City of Forsyth, at
6:00 PM on March 5, 2018, or
as soon thereafter as the matter
may reached, at City Council
Chambers at Alderman Hall,
and the property subject of
the application for rezoning is
