T his year was
an interesting
year in that Ash
Wednesday was also
Valentine’s Day. For
many it was a struggle to
decide, Do I go out to din
ner or do I go to church?
Perhaps you did both,
either an early dinner
before church or late din
ner after church.
You may have been
pressured by the Love
Day as God is Love,
right? Or by it being the
beginning of Lent most
of the things you would
fast from would be on the
menu for Valentine’s Day.
What did you do? Go the
day before, or do you love
everyday so it did not
matter?
I would like to share
with you what I did that
day. I felt compelled to
meet new neighbors and
others that I did not
know. Being from a small

lunch and a prayer ser
vice for the community
in the Fellowship Hall
of First. Baptist Church
Forsyth, 95 W. Morse St.
Lunch will be from 12-1
p.m. and a 30-minute
prayer service will be
held from 12:15- 12:45
p.m. The sponsoring

members of our commu
