MP soccer coaches leaving for Flowery Branch
By Will Davis
publisher™ mymcr.net
Mary Persons soccer coaches
Dallas Hall and Casey Hall
are leaving the school to go to
Flowery Branch High School in
Hall County.
Dallas Hall was just 25 years
old when he came to MP in
2016 as the girls head coach.
He has led the Lady Dogs to the
Sweet 16 of the playoffs all six
years, and to the Elite 8 in 2021.
His girls record is 76-33.
“One of the hardest decisions
and things I had to do was to
tell the girls,” said Dallas Hall.
“We’ve been a family since my
first year and Eve been blessed
with amazing girls on and off
the field. I hope I’ve impacted
them on and off the field as
much as they impacted me.”
Hall will be the head boys
soccer coach at Flowery
Branch, a Class AAAA school
in Hall County.
His new wife Casey Hall
joined the program this year as
Hall took over coaching both
the girls and the boys.
Dallas Hall said the Flowery
Branch job will give he and his
wife more family time. Hall
said his wife Casey may be an
assistant but that hasn’t been
determined yet.
“It was just an opportunity
based on future family out
look,” said Hall. “Quality time
we will gain from a lesser
schedule of coaching. And was
a solid program with consistent
success.”
The Halls will finish the sea
son at MP, as both teams open
the state playoffs this week,
both playing Richmond Acad
emy. The girls went to Augusta
for their Round 1 game on
Tuesday and the boys will be at
home on Wednesday.
MP has lost several coaches
this spring. Four football
coaches are leaving, both soc
cer coaches and the softball
coach. A new softball coach has
already been hired.
Dallas and Casey Hall will be moving to
Flowery Branch High School where Dallas
will coach the boys soccer team. He took the
Mary Persons girls to the Elite 8 last year,
and made the Sweet 1 6 every year.
