Another inmate has been

Warrants taken by Geor

Ethridge accuse Mack of
using a metal pipe as a
weapon, causing substantial
injury to another inmate.
Four Burruss inmates
were hospitalized after the
Feb. 28,2021 melee. On
Nov. 16 Kavazeia Dejean
Simpson, 19, of Albany, was taken to

property. A minimum-security
prison, Burruss has 650 inmates, said

CHASE
Continued from Front
roe County Hospital and
then to Atrium. Deputies
said Smart had swallowed
ecstasy during the chase
and had suffered a mild
heart attack, said Sherrell.
He remains in the hospital
at press time. He reportedly
told deputies his girlfriend
bought him the Corvette,
which was registered to a car
dealer. He is charged with
felony fleeing and will face
multiple traffic violations in
Monroe County, and some
out of Twiggs County as
well, said Sherrell. Smart
also had arrest warrants
out of Gwinnett county for
fraud and theft, said Sherrell.

Continued from Front
fishing since they were
holding fishing poles but
they denied it and said they
didn’t have a fishing license.
As they returned to the
parking lot, officers noticed
all three men were soak
ing wet and one had a ring
imprint on his face as if he
had been wearing a diving
mask. Sweat went into the
woods and retrieved the
bag they had dropped. He
called Page and told him
the bag was full of bass
and bream. They emptied
the bag and counted 18
fish, as well as two driv
ing masks and a spear gun
underneath the fish. Each
fish in the bag had a single
hole through their bodies
as if they had been shot
with a spear gun. All three
confessed to shooting the
fish with the spear gun and
were charged with taking
game fish by illegal meth
ods. All three suspects were
also charged with fishing
without a license. Page
said it is legal in Georgia
to spearfish only for non
game fish such as gar and
carp, with a regular license.

Vote for these Conservative Candidates
for Monroe County BOE
Our public schools are under siege. Marxists are trying to teach our kids to hate America. They’re
trying to divide us along racial lines. They’re trying to groom our kids for sexual perversion and
exploitation. Monroe County is a conservative county. Monroe County needs to elect the strongest
conservative school board members on the ballot to protect our children.
The following candidates have shown the most courage and willingness to speak out against the
Marxists. We urge Monroe County to elect these four candidates to make sure Monroe County
schools’ superintendent, administrators and teachers do not allow such evil in our schools.
