face Course 9.5 mm, Shoulder
Dressing with Grassing, Traf
fic Stripe, and Traffic Control
in strict conformance to the
2021 Edition of the Standard
Specifications of the Georgia
Department of Transportation.
Bituminous Escalations will not
apply to this contract.
The Completion Date for this
project is June 30, 2023. Liqui
dated damages in the amount
of $213.00 shall be assessed for
each day the work extends be
yond the Completion Date.
The work in the Contract will be
awarded on the basis of the total
sum bid.
All potential Bidders must be
prequalified with the Georgia
Department of Transportation.

prompt delivery. No partial sets
of bidding documents or elec

Bid Opening.
Each Bid must be accompanied
by a Bid Bond, prepared on the
form of Bid Bond attached to
the Contract Documents, duly
executed by the Bidder as princi
pal and having as surety thereon
a surety company licensed to do
business in the State of Georgia
and listed in the latest issue of
U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in
the amount of 10 percent of the
Bid.
The successful Bidder for this
Contract will be required to fur
nish a satisfactory Performance
Bond and Payment Bond each
in the amount of 100 percent of
the Bid.
All anticipated easements and
rights-of-way are expected to
be acquired prior to commence
ment of construction activities.
The Owner reserves the right to
reject any or all Bids, to waive in
formalities, and to re-advertise.

City of Forsyth, at City Council
Chambers at City Hall at 23 E.
Main Street in Forsyth at 6:00
