She started driving at ir

suspended license.
Weaver made the stop
near milepost 195 and
could smell alcohol and
saw two closed alcoholic

her active warrant was con

Rowdy customer
banned from Rumble Rd
BP
A 35-year-old man was
charged with trespass
ing on Sept. 14 after the
manager of the Rumble
Road BP told deputy Sha-
nia Hawkins the man was
banned on Jan. 22,2021,
but has returned to the
store several times.
The manager told
Hawkins the man ar
rived at the store earlier
in a white Cadillac and
went into the store with an
unknown woman.
The manager stated he
told the man he knew
he wasn’t supposed to be
there and that he needed
to leave. The man then
started yelling obscenities
and said he had something
for the manager if he came
outside.
He then exited the store
and went to his vehicle. The
manager said he saw him
hold something up but was
unsure of what it was due
to the glare.
The manager said he was
worried it was a gun and
needed him to stop com

scene, and making threats.
The man was charged with

Ungrateful employee
takes cash and tool
from Macon company
A manager of Windows
& Doors of Macon told
deputy Dustin Ramsey at
the sheriff’s office on Sept.
15 that a former employee
had been paid $850 by the
company via Venmo to fix
a door and other miscel
laneous tasks at a Klopfer
Road home but never
completed the job.
He told Ramsey that he
had to send other workers
to complete the project af
ter he received a text from
the employee stating that
he was moving.
The manager also said the
56-year-old employee had
borrowed his brand-new
Brake Buddy tool for a job-
site and when he sent one
of his employees to pick up
the tool, the ex-employee
left an older model tool
instead.
He told Ramsey that he
compared model numbers
and serial numbers of the
tools, which did not match
and that his tool was brand
new and the tool that was
left was worn out. He
was also able to provide a
receipt that showed his tool
was purchased for $375.
When he confronted the
man about the equipment
the man insisted that he left
the correct tool.
He said when the man
first began working, he was
struggling so he loaned
him $2,000 by sending him

A Hwy. 41 woman
around 3 a.m. on Sept. 15
told deputy Justin Sanders
her 79-year-old husband

She said her husband is
medicated, and the doc
tor recently changed his
medication. However, she
believed while cleaning his
room earlier in the day, he
located old medication and
took it, thinking he was
supposed to.
He then began shooting
his gun in the home and
seeing things that were not
there.
Deputies then asked the
woman to call her husband
and ask him to step outside
without his gun. But after
dialing several times he
did not answer. Finally, he
emerged with a cell phone
in his hand, and he was
ordered to his knees. As
deputies approached, he
told them he had a small
pistol in his pocket, but it

The man was secured

Enrique Hogan’s patrol
unit and taken to Coliseum

charges were filed.

Barnett told him that a
business has the right to
refuse service to anyone

with them.
The cook told the corpo

welcome at Waffle House
