A Macon truck driver was cited for multiple moving violations after overturning his tractor
trailer at the roundabout at the intersection of Hwy. 87 and 1 8 on Friday, Oct. 14. Greg
Rozier, 41, of Macon was northbound on Hwy. 87 around 3:1 8 p.m. when tried to navi
gate the roundabout and instead overturned, spilling some asphalt onto the road. Rozier
told Monroe County deputy Cody Maples that he downshifted into the roundabout but
still flipped over. Maples said in his report that tire and scrape marks indicate the Rozier
was speeding. He cited Rozier for too fast for conditions, failure to yield, tire violation and
driving without a license. Rozier was injured in the wreck and was treated at the scene by
Monroe County EMS. The 1997 Ford truck was owned by Marana Trucking Co.
