Lucio S. Perez Jr.
Lucio Sanchez Perez Jr. went to his
heavenly home on Thursday, Oct. 20,
2022, at the age of 74. He was born in
Realitos, Texas to the late Lucio and
Dora Perez Sr. He came from a large
family in which he was one of 11 chil
dren. As a young man, he married
and became a father of his first two
children - Emeline Hernandez and Eugenio Perez. When
he entered his second marriage, he was blessed to become
a father to two additional children - Gabriel Perez and

mid-2000 s, Lucio decided to settle in his final home of
Jackson. It is here where he met his third wife, Dolletta
Montgomery and was blessed with four stepchildren -

and Ricky Parham.
Lucio spent most of his life loving his family and making
sure his family and friends were taken care of. He was
open and honest and always put others first. He was a
sweet, friendly soul who made life-long friends very easily.
He loved spending time with his loved ones - especially
his grandchildren - his pets, his farm animals and sitting
outside on the porch. He loved hunting, fishing, singing,
making jokes and completing word searches.
