Old Mill Market Compa
ny held its biannual Holiday
Pop-Up Market in the stores
parking lot last Saturday from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is
held right before Thanksgiving
and again in the Spring just be
fore Mothers Day so customers
can take advantage of great gift
deals.
Store manager Katie Rowland
estimated around 300 people
were served by the 18 vendors
displaying a large array of
mostly handcrafted items. She
said some of the vendors have
asked to be added to the wait
ing list to sell in The Makers
Mart which is attached to Old
Mill Market. Rowland said it’s
a great way to start a business
and make connections.
The vendors currently selling
in The Makers Mart saw no
reason to set up a booth in
the parking lot because traffic
inside the store was heavy.
