Movie filming in Juliette
One of the most
famous Hollywood
movie locations, Juliette,
Ga., will likely be the
setting of yet another
big-budget movie next
month. According to a
post made on the Juliette
Facebook page, it was
reported that C.L. Cast
ing is looking for extras
for a 1969 period NASA
shoot. The casting call for
Caucasian men is Dec 9.
Those selected as extras
will receive $75 on the
fitting day and $ 182 for a
shooting day that could
possibly last up to 12
hours. An additional $50
will be paid to cover gas.
The sleepy little village
of Juliette was the back
drop of “Fried Green
Tomatoes” and nearby
Plant Scherer was the
setting for a NASA scene
in the Oscar-winning
movie “First Man” star
ring Ryan Gosling.
