Theft, drug suspect ‘realized he wasn’t in Bibb’
Monroe County deputies say
their new Flock cameras helped
them catch a Macon man wanted
for stealing a car and now also on
drugs and weapons charges.
Deputies were alerted around
10:06 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23 that
a vehicle reported stolen had just
passed a camera on Pate Road.
Deputies were able to get to the
area and stop the car, and identified
the driver as Adonte Jordan, 39, of
Macon. Deputies learned Jordan
was wanted out of Bibb County
and had a suspended license. As
deputies tried to handcuff Jordan,
he began to resist arrest and tried to
get back in the vehicle. After a brief
struggle, Jordan was handcuffed.
Inside the vehicle deputies found
several ounces of marijuana, over
50 Ecstacy pills, psilocybin mush
rooms and a firearm. Jordan has
numerous arrests which include
multiple felony convictions.
“He didn’tt want to stick around
and talk to us,” said sherif Brad
Freeman, adding that Jordan “real
ized he wasn’t in Bibb County”.
Jordan is in the Monroe Coun
ty Jail where he is charged with
Driving on a Suspended License,
Possession with Intent to Distribute
Marijuana, Possession of Ecstasy,
Possession of a schedule I Con
trolled Substance (psilocybin mush
rooms), Possession of a Firearm
During the Commission of a Felony
and Possession of a Firearm By a
Convicted Felon.
The sheriff’s office hashtagged its
press release #flockaroundandfind-
out and #mugshotmonday.

Report: Forsyth's ex spits in her face, does donuts in yard
A 19-year-old Macon man has warrants
after he allegedly tore up his
ex-girlfriend’s mother’s front
yard by doing “doughnuts” in the
lawn before leaving after a fight.
According to the incident report
filed on Jan. 16, deputy Jason
O’Steen responded to a call at 153
Moore Road where he found Ta-
shayla McFadden, 19, in tears and
with her mother, Cashuan Walker.
Walker told O’Steen that when
she arrived home she found her
CARD
daughter in a heated argument with her
daughter’s ex-boyfriend, Deondre
Montae Card, 19, of Macon. She said
that Card was told several times to
leave but he refused even after being
told the sheriff’s office had been
called. She said that Card eventually
left in a silver 2003 Honda Accord
LX and caused damage to the front
lawn by doing “doughnuts” in her
yard. There were several tire marks
in circular patterns throughout the yard.
McFadden said that Card came to the
home and started an argument with her.
She said that their relationship had been
over with, and she was not supposed to have
contact with him as a condition of bond
on another incident that occurred back in
September.
McFadden said that during the fight Card
picked up a stick and struck her silver 2003
Honda Accord several times leaving 3 large
dents in the driver-side doors and smashed
her windshield. She said when she tried to
stop him, Card began hitting her and spit in
her face.
McFadden had no visible marks but said
the left side of her jaw felt tender and swol
len. She said it wasn’t the first time Card
had intentionally caused damage to her
car. She said he once busted out the driver’s
side window and the deputy could see that
the window had replacement glass with a
different tint than the other windows.
The mother and daughter were given a
case number and warrants were secured
on Card for criminal property damage and
simple battery.

Dollar General on East Main
Street. The manager told officer
Richard Maddox the 44-year-old
woman was at the self-checkout
“skip scanning” products from
her buggy. After she paid for her
order and started out the door,
the manager stopped her and be
gan checking her receipt for items
not paid for. She found 47 stolen
items including Fudge Pops,
chocolate chip cookies, black leg
gings, a greeting card, clothing,
and cat food. The total amount

woman was charged with shop
lifting and taken to jail.
DUI for driver found asleep
behind wheel in High Falls
The sheriff’s office was called
after a man had been sleeping
for over two hours behind the
wheel of a running vehicle while
parked at a High Falls Mini Mart
gas pump on Jan. 10. Deputies
Justyn Weaver and Cory Adkins
responded around 2:18 a.m. and
woke the sleeping man sitting in a
red 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander.
He woke in a daze as if he had
been in a deep sleep, rolled down
the window and asked if he could
put on his shoes. Deputies could
smell alcohol as he got out of
the car and leaned against it for
balance. At first, he denied drink
ing and said he only pulled over
because he needed gas but then
admitted to drinking beer and
liquor while watching a football
game.
He repeatedly asked that he
be allowed to move to another
part of the parking lot and sleep
it off due to his job to which he
was repeatedly denied. He then
repeated his story of why he
pulled into the gas station but
added that he didn’t feel right and
knew he shouldn’t be driving. He
agreed to perform only the eye
test portion of a roadside sobriety
test and displayed all six of the
possible clues of impairment and
refused to blow into a breathalyz
er. He was then handcuffed and
given a ride to jail where he was
charged with DUI-refusal. Watts
Wrecker Service took away his
vehicle.
Two huskies attack two pigs
A woman on Big Buck Trail
called deputies after two husky
dogs came onto her property and
attacked two of her pigs on Jan.
11. She told Sgt. Thomas Haskins
she had discharged her firearm
trying to scare the dogs away.
The owner told Haskins
someone had let the dogs out
of his home earlier in the day
without his knowledge. He said
he was going to take the dogs to
his brother’s house who had a
fenced-in yard. He was cited for
the second time for a leash law
violation.
Unlicensed immigrant
turned over to jail personnel
A silver Acura TI with tinted
brake light covers was stopped
by officer Richard Maddox at the
intersection of Jackson Street and
Johnston Street on Jan. 11. Mad
dox learned the 22-year-old male
driver was unlicensed after the
man handed him an ID from El
Salvador. The man told Maddox
he had never been licensed in the
U.S., so the officer had him step
out and handcuffed him.
The Acura was turned over to a
licensed driver and Maddox took
the man to jail.
Stolen trailer repossessed
The sheriff’s office was called
after a homemade 16’ trailer was
repossessed and reported stolen
on Jan. 14. A man told deputy
Cody Maples that he had pur
chased the trailer from Vintage
Way Enterprises for $2,800 on
May 10 and it had been repos
sessed on Jan. 13. He said a
Baldwin County deputy came to
his home before he allowed it to
be towed.
The driver for the repo compa
ny had paperwork that showed
that the trailer belonged to Twin
City Trailers in South Fulton,
Tenn. and had been rented by a
man who never returned it. The
Baldwin County deputy told the
victim to file a report with the
Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Maples contacted the owner
of Vintage Way Enterprises and
asked if he remembered selling
the trailer. The man replied that
he did not remember because he
purchases and sells many things
but that he would go through
his paperwork to see if he could
find a bill of sale. He asked for the
victim’s phone number and said
that he would return his money.
He added that he is a pastor and
would not purposely sell some
one stolen property.
The two men later called
Maples and said that they were
meeting at Christ Chapel on
Bass Road. Maples was unable to
contact the man who had stolen
the trailer.
The following arrests were reported by the Monroe County Sheriffs Office and Forsyth
Police Department, An arrest means someone has been charged with a crime, but the
law considers them innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
