According to reports,
there have been incidents of

the past several weeks.
Deputies Thomas Haskins

Jackson
were

and
found
JOHNSON t he
teenagers,
Theodore
Johnson, 17, and Aiden Hol-
gerson, 18, inside the home.
They admitted they didn’t
have permission to be on
the property and said they
were just “hanging out”.
They also said they had been
in the house several times
before and had recently set a
mattress on fire.
Both Johnson and
Holgerson said they knew
they were not supposed to
be at the home and knew
that they were trespassing
during an interview with
Inv. Alhstrom. They were
turned over to jail personnel
and warrants were taken
for burglary (3 charges),
arson, property damage,
and possession of tobacco
by minors. Another teen
was captured on camera in
the home and was charged
on Monday, April 24 as a
juvenile since he’s only 16.
Johnson’s mother, Lisa
Johnson, posted on the
Monroe County Sheriff’s
Office Facebookpage that,

they should be punished

the charges are outrages for
an abandoned house that a

A Los Angeles man was
charged with DUI and hit
and rim when he
was found hiding
at a High Falls
motel after strik
ing a box truck on
1-75 on April 19
around 6:30 a.m.
According to the
report, box truck
driver Wesley
Lackey told
deputy Matthew
Sammons at the Johnston-
ville exit that he was travel
ing south on 1-75 when a
2007 Chrysler 300 struck
him in the rear. He said after
being hit, the car, which was
smoking and had severe
front-end damage, went
around him and continued.
The only damage to Lackey’s
vehicle was a broken-off
liftgate handle.
An hour later Sammons
was dispatched to the High
Falls Hide-away
Motel at 5047
High Falls Road
in reference to
a white 2007
Chrysler 300 that
was smoking
and appeared to
have been in an
accident. Mon
roe County Fire
Department was
already on scene and a man
was standing outside the
Chrysler 300 speaking on a
cell phone. He acted as if he
was unaware of Sammons’
presence and continued his
conversation as the dep
uty approached. The Fire
Department told Sammons
that the driver was fine and
finally the man put away his
cell phone. He was identified
by the deputy as Alfonse
Anderson, 37, of Los Ange
les, Calif.
Anderson told Sammons
he was traveling on 1-75 S
when a car braked in front
of him, and he swerved to
the left around a box truck
and ran into the back of the
truck. He said he got out
at the next exit to see if his
car had any damage. The
Chrysler had extreme dam
age to its front end and the
hood was bowed upwards
with a thin rip running to
the windshield.
Sammons could smell
alcohol on Anderson and
called deputy Justyn Weaver
to assist. While speaking to
Weaver, Anderson admitted
to drinking beer and wine

Report: Byron man in lingerie
caught with meth in Juliette barn
By Steve Reece

A Byron man wearing
women’s lingerie and pink
panties was charged with
possession of meth
after he was found
trespassing in a
Juliette bam on
April 18.
According to the
sheriff’s report,
deputy Enrique
Hogan was
dispatched to a
Turkey Rim Drive
home regarding
a suspicious motorcycle
parked on the side of a bam.
Hogan walked with the
complainant, Jeffrey Jones,
to the bike and the deputy
noticed 28-year-old Dakota
Christian Mimbs wearing
a red hoodie, putting on
a black backpack. Hogan
ordered him outside.
When Hogan asked why
he was inside someone else’s
property he replied, “Some
body told me I could be
here.” Hogan asked him for
ID and Mimbs said it was
inside his backpack and as
he reached to get
it, he took a pack
of cigarettes from
his hoodie pocket
and dropped it
inside. Hogan no
ticed Mimbs was
moving things
around inside the
backpack without
really searching for
his ID and was shov
ing the cigarette pack down
to the bottom.
Mimbs ordered him to
stop searching, stand in
front of the patrol car and
put his hands behind his
head. During the pat-down,
the deputy discovered a
holstered Glock .40 caliber
semi-automatic handgun
concealed under a second
set of gym pants. Mimbs
was then handcuffed and
placed in the rear of Hogan’s
car.
Hogan found a small bag
gie of crystal meth inside the
cigarette pack. There were
also 2 boxes of .40 caliber
ammunition as well as a
second baggie of metham-
phetamine in the backpack.
Mimbs was arrested for
methamphetamine posses
sion and possession of a fire
arm during the commission
of a felony. His motorcycle
was taken away by Comer
Towing Service.
Upon arrival at the Mon
roe County Jail, Mimbs was
scanned in the body scanner
and metallic objects were
observed concealed on his
body. During a strip search,
it was found that the objects
were metal garter clips
attached to his red-laced
women’s lingerie over his
pink panties.
