Forsyth Monroe County
Chamber of Commerce
celebrated the opening of
R&B Solutions new sales
office in Forsyth with a rib
bon cutting on Wednesday,
April 19. R & B Solutions
offers storage sheds, pole
barns, carports, garages
and various combinations
and innovations of struc
tures to meet personal and
commercial needs.
The Forsyth office is
located at 300 James Street,
which is visible from 1-75.
From Exit 187, head north
on Cabiness Road, turn
right on North Front
age Road and then right
on James Street. The lot
includes examples of the
many types of metal build
ings available from R&B
Solutions. Tammy Cody
is the sales manager in
Forsyth. The office is open
from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon
day-Friday. Give Tammy a

Forsyth is the 7th office of
R&B Solutions in Middle
Georgia. The home office
is in Jackson, and the metal
building manufacturer
serves Georgia, Mississippi,
Alabama, Florida, Tennes

Carolina. Randy King, a
Monroe County resident,
founded R&B Solutions
in 2007. After founding a
steel building manufac
turing company in 2003,
King wanted to serve the
surrounding communities
with additional portable
storage options.
The Forsyth location is
especially important to
King and his family as an
opportunity to employ and
support Forsyth residents
directly. Jon Cowan, R&B
Solutions director of opera
tions, said that the compa
ny is constantly adding new
options to meet customer
needs and interests.
“We provide the shells
and they can run wild with
their imagination,” he said.
Customers have multiple
choices for colors, frames
and roofs, doors and
windows, sides and ends
and lean-tos. The show lot
in Forsyth has examples of
everything from chicken
houses to large commercial
buildings. Sheds are built
ahead and delivered fully
assembled. R&B Solutions
has a 3-D Builder online to
help the customer create a
fully customized structure.

B Solutions, which partners
with Yoder Buildings to of
fer the best quality auxiliary
buildings available.
“I love providing different
options for homes,” said
Swartzentruber. “ I want
repeat customers.”

Solutions has seen such a
demand for its products
that it plans to open one
new site each year for the

Essays are due at 5 p.m.
on Friday, May 5 on the
topic “What I love about
Monroe County” with $700
in cash on the line. Monroe
County will celebrate its
202nd Birthday on May
15, and as is a Reporter
tradition, residents can win
big prizes by submitting
essays on the topic. Email
to pubilsher@mymcr.net.
Monroe County’s Todd
Tolbert is offering $700 in
prizes for the “What I love
about living in Monroe
County” essay contest.
Judges will name a first
and second place in two
categories, youth (up to
18) and adult (over 18).
Essays must be at least 400
words and may be emailed
to publisher@mymcr.net.
The deadline is 5 p.m. on
Friday, May 5.
The winning essays will
be published in the May
10 edition, along with
Founders Day information
including specials offered
by local businesses en
couraging Monroe County
residents to shop at home.
The county will celebrate
its 202nd birthday this year
as it was created by the
Georgia legislature on May
15,1821.
