The U4 Bulldogs included Lawson Brook, Kennedy Brooks,
Xavier Davis, Will Elder, Jayvien Goolsby, Ryan Hooper,
Jay Lion McDowell, Weston Miller, Landon Morgan, Tanner
Morgan, Bo Speir, Kaysen Taylor, Carter Watts, Kaspian
White and Banner Whitehead. They were coached by
Jamila Gantt.
The U6 Thunder included Caleb Davis, Logan Goss, Tobias
Harrison, Morickus Holder, Conor Pope, Hendrix Roland,
Colten Sharman, Coen Webb, Katalina White and Oliver
Williams. They were coached by Wes Pope.
The U6 boys Hawks included John Calhoon, Princeton Allen,

The U6 Bucks included Jaxon Donovan, London Downing,
Darryl Galloway, Grady Lovett, Alexa Madrigal, Braylan
Mann, Zariyah Proctor, Sebastian Spear, Darian Talmadge
andKashtyn Thomas. They were coached by Michael
Lovett.
The U6 Bulldogs included Olivia Bernard, Adam Collier,
Jordan Folds, Kaden Frey, Tyler Lewis, Kingston Manuel,
Jaydon McDowell, Denorris Miller, Ella Porter and Quinton
Alford. Their coach was Quintarious Alford.
The U6 boys Warriors included Aryl Cannady, Luke

The U8 Heat included Kaleb Colbert, Milton Burnett, Zay-

The Ul 2 girls Rockets included Jaden Colbert, Jirah

Bentley Melton, Karlie O’Neal, Cassidy Scandrett and
Jarhya Ussery. They were coached by Ramael Davis.
The Ul 2 Kings included Connor Carr, Caspian Chambers,
Jau’King Colbert, Tyler Jones, Joyce Maurice, Caiden Mc-
Craw, Hayden McKenzie, Tyrek Russell, Braylen Sikes and
Rogers Wooten. Their coach was Traveon Moore.
The Ul 2 Rockets included Braylon Eason, Michael Howard,
Ze Quarius Lockett, Samuel Nickel, Ji Xyden Ralls, Amari
Reese, Cristian Stone, Cameron Thomas, Mason Thomas
and Tanner Turnbow. They were coached by Ramael Davis.
Mother of Year
noms due Fri.
The deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, May 5 to nominate
your mom as Monroe County’s Mother of the Year for
2023. The Reporter is sponsoring the Mother of the
Year contest. Simply write in 400 words or less why
your mom should be Mother of the Year. The winning
nomination should include specific details about how
mom has sacrificed to meet her family’s needs. She
must be a Monroe County resident, but the nominator
doesn’t have to be. Nominations are due at 5 p.m. on
May 5. The winner will be featured in the Reporter just
before Mother’s Day, May 14, in the May 10 issue. She
will receive gifts from local businesses. The top nom
inations will be printed as well. Nominations should
include the name of the mother and the person nom
inating her and the author’s phone number. Email
