day. give an Interview, in which he says
the Filipinos will never be conquered un
der the present plans of the United Htatea
government.
He Is James H. Mitchell, who left with
the Twenty-ninth Iteglment last year He
was honorably dti charged from the army
on account of 111 health. The war, Mr
Mitchell thinks. Is liable to keep up In
definitely. There Is very little lighting, he
