Considerable Interest has been aroused
among the Utile glrii In the city who play
with dolts by the doli show that is to be
given by K roe be l dree of King’s Daugh
ters early In December. The ladles are
busy In completing their arrangement*
for the show, and they are confident that
it will he a success. The place where It
ts to be given has not yet been decided
upon, but the location will be suitable and
convenient.
Some of the friends of the charity that
Is represented by Froebel Circle hnve en
gages! to give prizes for the best dolls In
nine classes that will he arranged. There
will be prize* for the best girl dolls, fancy
dressesi dolls. Wthy doili. * rippled and dts
ablest doll*, dolls entered as advertise

tho Mayor and Aldermen, and to the
Georgia Historical Society.

Whole of City Council Friday afternoon,

tion to the Collinsville land owners, or
the Oglethorpe Heal Estate Company,
for streets opened by them in Collinsville,
the committee to report to tho Com ml t
ee of the Whole whit compensation, if
any. should he paid by the city on account
of the streets. The committee consist*
of Aldermen Tiedemar.. Haas and Dixon

Of the street* In question, some were
opened under an agreement with the city,
which was never carried out in full, oth
ers in consequence of n subsequent agree
ment and still other* without any agree*
ment. It Is acknowledged that the city
has never paid any canh for any of the
street* opened In Collinsville, though it
nai given privileges in exchange In some
instances.
