GEORGE SIGHTLY DEAD.

Christmas.
Hagan, Ga„ Jan. 3. —George Sightly,
the young white man who was shot
here a few days before Christmas,
mention of which was made in the
Morning News at the tirr.e, died sud
denly early this morning. He seemed
to be improving rapidly, having been
allowed to walk out around town.
This morning when he got up and was
sitting by the tire he began to spit
blood, and before medical aid could
be administered the end came.
The man who shot him, Homer Glis
aon, is still at large.
