SENATORIAL RACE.

Field.
WrlghtsvilTe, Ga.. March 26.—The
Democratic Executive Committee for
the Sixteenth senatorial district met
here yesterday to fix the- date for the
primary for the nomination of a can
didate for the Senate. The meeting
was presided over by Judge Frank
Mitchell of Swainsboro.
April 20 was named as the date for
the primary, which will be held under
the same rules and regulations a*
those prescribed by the State Demo
cratic Executive Committee for State
House officers.

tem prevails m this district, which is
composed of the counties of Laurens,
Johnson and Emanuel The candidate*
