held in Macoh last May.
Tilth is the view of Gapf. D. G. Futile,
president of the association, who
has returned to the city from a trip
of over 5,1)00 mil£s. He found the
interest in the convention genera',
wherever he went, and found also that
both the number of people who will
attend and the number of exhibits that
will be made, will be much greater
than before.
Sotfi6 idea of the importance and
scope of the convention may be gath
ered from the fact that among the
many distinguished persons who will
atCend and read papers at its sessions
are Secretary James Wilson of the De
partment ot Agriculture; Dr. H. W.

Gthet exhibits will be samples of the
sugar made at the pises of Cohn Bros.,
Amsterdam, in Decatur county, Geor
gia; and cardboard made of begasse.
ThC interest in the prdduet of begasse
is very great because of the possibili
ties of that product. It is believed
that this can take the place not only
ot straw boat'd, of light board and of
leather iri many cases; but that it may
also be deed exclusively in electrical
Work for insulating. Further, under
the auspices of the national govern
rrtefit, experiments have been made In
the manufacture of begasse into a pa
per that will be an acceptable substi
tute for that ho made from spruce
ptilsi.
This experiment Oras made at the
Cumberland mills, Portland, Me., and
resulted in the product of a white pa
per much reSetiiblitig bond paper and
of a Splendid textile Strength. The
fxpefimefit is SO clearly a success that
the question now seems only the modi

LAZINESS
IS A DISEASE
LanitioSs is a disease. This is no joke. LbMnesS 15 the direct result of Malaria. It's a
form of Malaria. It hats its own specific GERM.
Men fturcharped with Lazy Germs want to sit all day. It la only at while lying
on their hacks that they resolfe to do an honest day's work next day.
It take* mighty little energy to make good resolutions, but it takes a great deal to
keep them.
Lying down is easy. The sitting posture calls into play certain muscles that were fn
repose while In the recumbent position and the standing posture called still other mus
cles into play and the small reserve of strength in the lazy man is exhausted m merely
standing on his feet, and there was no more energy left to do battle wifh the fierce world.
Result, “Nothing doing."
And day after day this is the diary of the lazy man—" Nothing doing."
Now if yon would put your dreams into some tangible shape, if you would stand by
these good resolutions ( let me advise that your first step should be to rid yourself of Ma
laria.
Get a bottle of Johnson's Chill and Eever Tonic and begin 8t once and take not leas
than four good doses every day. When the first bottle is gone, get the second and then
the third.
After you have used three bottles, you will note that passing friends will ask "Where
have you been?"
The improved condition of your skirt, the elastic step, the bright eye, all proclaim that
your condition has been improved.
The change wrought by a dollar’s worth of Johnson’s Tonic is only comparable to the
change produced by a six month's sojourn in Canada.
Under certain circumstances sickness is a crime. Every ailttiagt traceable to Hydra-
Headed Malaria can easily be remedied, and if lsft unremedied you afe Imposing not only
upon yoUrsalf, but upon your friends.
Ignorance is no excuse against the law of the land or against Nature’s laws. Use
Johnson’s Tonic and feel 20 years younger and look 20 times better.
It is the one remedy that will make pobr looking men feel better and poor looking
women look better,
Don’t be lazy.
“A lazy man is no better than a dead one, and he takes up more room.”
