FRUIT IN MARION CO., FLA.
Orange Shipments Will llegin Next
Week.
Candler, Fla.. Oct. 10.—Oranges arc
beginning to show some color and
shipments of the celebrated Parson
Brown, the earliest variety known, will
begin to go forward about the middle
of this month. The crop here Is hold
ing well, with a very small waste by
cracking and dropping. As there have
been no high winds this fall, there is
no damage from thorns.
Grape fruit of the Marsh Seedless
variety is coloring rapidly and will be
in the markets very soon. All fruit
is rather small on account of the
drought In the spring.
Dry weather prevails in this county
and cotton is rapidly opening and be
ing picked. Caterpillars have done
considerable damage in some localities,
but not here. Redbugs are staining
the cotton some, but not seriously.
Sugar cane and sweet potatoes, as well
as the planting of fall gardens are
backward for lack of rain. As there is
usually a rainy summer, the lack of
rain is something hard to account for.

OPERATIONS NOT ALWAYS NEC
ESSARY.
Doctors Frequently Mistaken.
“I suffered untold agony with piles
for over three years. Two doctors
told me nothing but an operation
would cure me. I tried different rem
edies, but nothing did me any good
until I used Pyramid Pile Cure. I
bought six fifty cent boxes at the
drug store, and now I can do my work
and go out, where before I spent
most of my time lying down. I thank
God for giving the discoverer the
knowledge to make such a cure. I
recommend it to all my friends, and
if I ever have piles again will cer
tainly use this remarkable remedy.
You can use this in any way you wish
to make known the wonderful merit
of Pyramid Pile Cure." Mrs. Wm.
Mucky, 81 Marshall street, Elizabeth
N. J.
The experience of this lady Is that
of thousands of others who have been
assured that nothing short of an op
eration would rid them of this dis
tressing complaint. On the face of it,
it appears as if too many surgeons op
erate in order that they may keep
their hand in, and lose no portion of
their skill; then, again, too many but
geons are anxious to experiment (like
the scientific man in Mark Twain's pa
thetic story of the dog and her little
puppy), and do not have proper re
gard for a patient's physical welfare
or condition.
We advise every sufferer to think
twice before submitting to an opera
tion for piles, and suggest that those
interested write to the Pyramid Drug
Cos.. Marshall, Mich., for their little
bonk on the causes and cure of piles,
which is sent free for the asking.
