TO HOLDERS CITY SAVANNAH
BONDS.
At times the Sinking Fund Com
missioners advertise for tender of
hohds. Brokers and others comply
and yet no purchase. Why? Because
•these gentlemen want to say what a
f> per cent, bond, due in 1909 or 1913,
is worth. Is their opinion, having lit
tle experience, worth much. Now mark.
I say positively, no. So do not offer
any more bonds. Let them come into
the market and bid for them.
The able administration of the Hon.
Herman Myers would enable me to
float a. 50-year 3‘/i per cent, of the
City of Savannah for J 300.000; in forty
eight hours at par. I love my home
and I know what I am talking about.
