Foil SALE—HEAL ESTATE!
YOU ARE AN OWNER OF REAL
estate. It is very important for your
own protection that you know certain
things. 1 would like to ask you a few
very important questions: First, do
you ’as an owner of real estate know
that if your house is vacant and you
fall to notify the insurance company
of this fact and your house hums
down that you can recover no insur
ance; Second, do you know that if you
are at work repairing your property
longer than n specified number of days
and fail to notify the insurance com
pany, ttiat they can refuse to pay for
a loss by fire during the repairing?
Third, do you know that If you mort
gage your property and fail to notify
the insurance company, and your
property burns down that you cannot
recover your insurance? Fourth, do
you know whether an assessment
against your property for paving,
drainage, etc., is legal, and whether
or not you should pay It? Fifth, do
you know that if you rent a house to
a party and say nothing as to the
time that the law construes the ten
ancy to he for a year? Most people
think this constitutes a tenancy at
will. Sixth, do you know that In
case of fire that if you do not notify
the insurance company and present
your proofs of loss w-ithin a certain
number of days that the company
can refuse to pay you? Seventh, do
you know also that if they fail to
pay you promptly that you must en
ter suit within a certain time or else
your claim is gone forever? These are
Just a few- of the legal points that an
owner of real estate should know and
have constantly In mind. You don’t
know these things nor is it expected
that you should. An ordinary collector
does not know them. These are very
important things to know. This you
will apprectnto when you find your
selves in someone of these unfortu
nate situations. Perhaps the property
burned may bo your home —your all.
What then? Everything gone simply
because you were ignorant of a point
of law. But your ignorance, unfor
natcly for you, will not avail you. It
will not help you one lota. To a legal
mind these things are over present.
A legal mind is on the lookout for
these things. Let me rrianage your
estate and collect your rents. It will
pay you. Ask my clients if it has not
paid them. G. A. Mercer, Jr.

UUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
A CHANCE MONEY?
I have been doing so well In the egg
business that I feel it my duty to let
others know how they can succeed.
I sent to the Beard Chemical Cos.,
Norfolk, Va., and obtained their egg
preserver. I bought eggs at 8 to 10
cents per dozen and kept them until
fall when I sold them for 25 to SO
cents and cleared $287. I reinvested
tVils money each year for several
years, when I had $3,872.50 as the np
sult of my business. I have tried
many ways of preserving eggs but this
is the only way of keeping eggs per
fectly fresh. The yolk won't stick and
they look and taste Just like new laid
eggs. It costs only one cent a dozen
to preserve them. My son made $lO
to sls a week selling the preserver to
families who want to keep a few doz
en for their own use. This is a good
chance for agents. Any person can get
full information and free directions by
writing the above firm. Every reader
should leam how to buy eggs now
when they are cheap and sell them
when they are dear. J. W.
