ignore the fact that tlie Republicans
are now doing their best to organize the
Southern States on a truly Democratic
basis, and that the ex-Rebels of those
States, backed by the Copperheads of the
North, are doing their very utmost to im
pede and pervert Reconstruction, and thus
protract iudetinetly the military rule
which they affected to find so harsh, des
potic, degrading, etc. If the Kepublicans
succeed, all the Military machinery, Freed-
men's Bureau, etc- will be swept away as
a mere scaffold, and the States restored to
self-government, including representation
in Congress, within the next few months.
This is what Congress has provided for—
what the Republicans, North and South.
Every Republi-
| can vote is cast for Immediate Reconstruc-

The “Conservative” South and the Cop- ,

it with all their might. They will have an

quiet. busy and prosperous, pursuing the
arts of Peace! judge between us. “Con
servatism” at the South means the perpet
uation of inequality, hatred and conten
tion—Radicalism means impartial justice,
equal laws, and a fair chance to all. Vote
your choice between them !

your question respecting Baugh's Raw
Bone Super-Phosphate 1 send you the fol
lowing facts:
I prepared in my garden, at West Eud,
three squares for Irish potatoes; on the
first I put nothing; on the second, Guano
at the rate of two hundred and fifty pounds
per acre; on the third, your Bone Dust at
the rate of three hundred pounds per acre.
As you arc not interested In the quality, I
give no particulars of soil or mode of cul
ture, further than to say that in these re
spects and in time of planting the squares
were e.;:i 1. The square manured with
Guano yielded forty per cent, over the un
manured square; and that manured with
Baugh's Raw Bone Super-Phosphate
seventy-live per cent, over the uumanured
square. It may be that the Guano was not
a pure article. 1 bought it. however, for
Peruvian, and from a reliable house, and
