Italirosd company furnishes the following
facts regarding an accident on its road this
morning: Train No. 37, westbound, left here
at sin o'clock iut night, passed Little fails on
time, but ran off tbe track about one mile west
of that place at about I2i30 o'olock this morn-
lng. The accident is said to be caused by the
wuhout of a portion of the bank. The engine
puted over safbly, but the tender broke
loose end ran off the track with the entire

this old courthouse, but that hu been recently
removed. William H. Crawford presided
here for many years, the ablest statesman and
jurist that Georgia ever produced. History
says that it ha had not been
etricken with paralysis he would
have succeeded Monroe in the presidency.
Ho wu tho intimate frlond of Madison
and Gallatin aud Clay and Bsndolph, and
Madams do Btul and Wellington and La-
Fayette, and had tho confidence and eiteam

in 1831, and wu succeeded by Garnett An-

cord of 800 cases brought by Robert Toombs
