The voice of the people of Georgia has
been heard and the verdict goes forth once
■More that Georgia is to bo represented in
.he national congress by a solid democratic
delegation.
The election was an exciting one in some
of the counties an i It is certainly to be
• ivpiored that in Richmond county several
men lost their lives around the voting
places.
All of the districts showed up well for
d mocracy.
The ninth, seventh, fourth and tenth
districts were the on-s t.iat were regarded
as the weakest dtmocratic districts in th*-
state, and if here was any fear at ail
among the party leaders ?t was hing.-d upon
tiles*, districts.
B-u they nli went democratic.
