A BLIGHT TO AGRICULTURE
Womer and Children Afraid To Stay
by Themselves in Country
Homes.
(For The Constitution.)
I have no desire to pass upon the merit*
of tho recent lynchings which have oc
curred, but I will m-ntion the effe't that
the general demoralization is having upon
agriculture in the hope of a remedy.
The country is being blighted!
Worn-n a: 1- hlldren have -ome to tie
afraid to be I-ft at home by themselves.
Nearly every man whose home is at all
removid from neighbors feels som- wnat of
an anxiety when away from his home.
Everything is panicky.
And the ff-et Ist o make those air- ady in
•
get away and to keep tease outside from
getting into the same box.
Some blame th-- lawy--rs for these con
ditions —yet all that a lawyer should
