In the case of a negro by the name of

ahlpped here from i'oncord several
day* ago. with a certificate atteatlng
that the man had died of heart failure.
The negro wa* a member of a freight
train crew and when hla body arrived
here hla family discovered that the
man had died from name violent cause,
a* hi* body showed unmistakable sign*
of It. Both leg* were broken, the skull
fractuied und the abdomen crushed.
The negro’* family reported the maty
ter tu the roronvr. who empaneled a
Jury*, and at the Inquest It developed
that the man had been killed by a lo
