A few cold days may still come—“Winter lingering in the lap of Spring,” as the poet puts it. But the
planning of your Spring wardrobe should begin with the arrival of these new vernal garments at Cham
berlin-Johnson-DuBose.
And a goodly array is here. Spring Suits in voiles and fancy worsteds in light grounds with hair-line
stripes, broken plaids and checks, and mannish worsteds. The prevailing things are Etons, Pony Coats
and 19-inch half-fitted coats. -
And Silk Suits;—for silk will be high up in Fashions favor. It will be quite “the thing.”
These afe here also in all colors:—the new russet, blues, champagne, maize, pearl gray, and black.
Etons and Short Coats are the thing here also.
