Spanish Honduras, brings news c.f much preparation by Honduras for war with Nicaragua. President Ronllln has requested a loan of 40,000 sols each from three large American fruit Im porting concerns operating to Olba and Porto t’ortez to carry on the hos tilities. Those asked for the loan are the United Fruit Company. Vlcarro Brothers, of New Orleans, and Thacker Brothers’ Steamship Company, of this city. It is said the loan has been refused.
