The New York Herald contains an account of a beautiful luncheon given by Mrs. John A. Harris*, and n picture of the hostess, which will be of Intsrest to the many Atlanta friends of the bostess. The function waa given at the ele gant home of Mrs. Harris*, on River side drive, in honor of Mrs. Harry Wallerstsln, a prominent society and club woman of Kaw York and president of the Rubensteln Club, of that city. The table decorations were In violets, the favorite flower of the honor guest, and the violet motif was carried out In all the beautiful details of the af fair, and also'ln the elegant and elab orate menu nerved. Covers were laid for sixteen at a large round (able, and each place was marked with roraage bouquets of Par ma violets, with Uny electric bulbs ar ranged underneath these, and the other decorations of violets to throw.Into re lief the exquisite color, a large number of lights being thus used on thv list surface of the table.
