on the Hamburg-Amerlcan liner Amer-
Ika. They went abroad Just two months
ago on a cattle ship. Special Treasury

moved from the clothe* of Green and
Roherer Jewelry estimated at from 120,-
000 to S30.000 In value.
Thl* Jetyelry 1* part of the* proceeds
of an enormou* haul made by a band
of American crooks In London last
month. The valuables were stolen from
the London house of Tiffany & Co. and
from other large Jewelry houses In
Bond street.' Green and Roherer are
locked up at police headquarter* on the
technical charge of smuggling, but It Is
very likely that the pair will return to
England In order to make a close study
of condition* at Wormwood Hrrubb* or
some other British penal Institution.
