The Atlanta chapter of the Daugh
ters of the American Revolution will
hold an Easter bssaar neat Friday at
the home of Mrs. A. McD. Wilson, on
Peachtrse street. There will be
sale all sorts of dainty useful articles
at reasonable prices. Besides caps,
aprons, handkerchiefs and pretty pieces
of lingerie, visitors may purchase can
dies and a delicious light lunch.
A most Interesting feature of the
bataar will be the exhibition of the
articles which have thus for been col
lected for display at the Jamestown
Exposition. Many Interesting relics are
now- collected Under Mrs. Wilson’s roof
and visitors to the bosaar will be ac
corded the privilege of seeing them.

of her stay In the Land of Flowers. The
following extracts from one of her re
cent letters give a charming glimpse of
the beautiful town of Orlando and «f
Its pleturesque surrounding*. Mrs.
Powers writes:
"Orlando haa more style than any
town of four thousand people that I
ever saw. There are many tourists
here, numerous automobiles and quite a
number of elegant winter homes of
Northern people.
"Our location is Ideal, right on Lake
Lucerne, surrounded by some of the
prettiest homes in the city. There Is a
greet deal of driving by here, as Lake
Lucerne Is the pride of the town, the
drive, walk, etc., being kept In good
order. The lake has many row boats
and the children enjoy rowing Im
mensely. Tourists* winter homes dot
the entire circuit of Lake Lucern**.

thelt beautifully kepi lawn*, with flow
er* atui shrubbery, the graceful curv
ing walk, bordered with velvety green
grass and palms and live oaks draped
