March 21.—When It was reported that a negro had been seen along the river near Canton, who was believed to be the negro who en tered the Tolbert home at Falrmount and cruelly murdered thetr baby, the searching party congregated In that neighborhood where the search with the aid of dogs contlnuea today. Some little excitement wae created at the station here yeaterday evening when the southbound train on the W. & A. arrived. A negro with side whisk era was seen on the train and quick ly the crowd rushed In and dragged him off. The pHssengera all left the train, expecting a lynching.
