and Mrs. John Miller Pogue, whose
departure for Cincinnati, April 1, to
make their home In that city, I* a
source of general regret among their
many friends. The house was beauti
fully decorated In Faster lilies, ferns
and palm*. The table In the dining
room, was especially attractive. The
duny cover over green had a* Its cen
terpiece a basket filled with Faster
lilies and asparagus ferns. From the
• corners of the table was vellete
tulle, which reached up to the chande
lier. with bunches of Faster lilies nnd
ferns dotted here and there on the
tulle drapery. Cut glass candlestick*
holding green tapers and cut glass
dishes tilled will! green and while
mints completed the decoration.
Punch was served throughout the
game. The score cards were designed
hand-painted Faster lilies. The first
prize, an Individual cut glass sugar and
ream set, was won by Mrs. Meredith
Martin. The consolation, a growing
Faster Illy, was eut by Miss Josephine
Rogers, while the booby, a little basket
tilled with tiny little chicks and egg*,
presented to Mr*. William Walker,
llealy wa* presented with a
hand-painted salad bowl, and Mrs.
Pogue with hand-painted memorandum
folio. After the game a delightful salud
and Ice course was served, the Ices
being frozen In Easter lilies.
