PUBLISHING HOUSE
IS NOW ASSURED
"The publishing plant has bccomo a
necessity and it Is an assured thing.”
•aid Dr. Rolfe Hunt in speaking of the
report that the establishment of such a
plant is contemplated by the Congrega
tional Methodist church. "I can not say
Just yet where It will be located, nor
when the work of erection will begin.
We had not anticipated that the plan
to establish a publishing house would
be made public before the first of May.
“It may be said, however, that the
question of whether the publishing
plant Is located in this city or not rests
entirely with Atlanta. It depends upon
the Inducements offered. There nre
many cities clamoring for the Atlanta
Bible School and many of them would
be equally os glad to have the publish
ing plant located in their section."
TWO ARE POISONED
BY ALAND AGENT
Fort Scott. Kans.. April 10.—Joseph
McKulecky, aged «5, and Joseph Sala-
St. Petersburg. April 10.—A fierce
conflict of authority between Premier
Stolypln and several of the more im
portant provincial governors has been
brought to the attention of the exar.
The clash Is the result of drum-head
courts martial. Premier Stolypln has
kept faith and for ten days none of the
death sentences Inflicted by the mili
tary courts has been carried out.
The campaign of assassination by
the revolutionaries, with the exception
of several Insignificant murders of po
lice by irresponsible students, has also
ceased,' at least for the moment. Care
ful examination of the official figures
discloses tho fact that since August 1
eighty men and women havo been
hanged or shot under sentence of the
military courts, mostly within forty
eight hours of arrest. •
The other side of this picture is
equally appalling. During the same
period 1,241 wearers of tho czar's coat,
of high and low degree, died at the
hands of assassins.
