MURPHEYPLANT. St. Pauls Episcopal chuipli at Macon was beautifully decorated on Wednes day afternoon for the marriage of Miss Fannie Ross Plant and Mr. Julius Clay Murphey. Only the families and a few Intimate friends were present to wit- ness the ceremony. The church was decorated with ami- lax and palms, white roses and Easter lilies. Around the chancel rail tho southern snillax was wreathed and the palms bunked and vases tilled with the long-stemmed roses wt-re artistically placed and many Easter lilies were used, while the chandeliers were twined with amllHX. Promptly at r. o’clock the ushers en tered. Mr. Eden Taylor, Jr., and Mr. Harold Murphey, Mr. Lawrence Hunt and Mr. Hugh Kilpatrick, and preced ing the bridal party were two charming little boys, each with a dainty dower girl, who carried armfula of en chantress carnations. Edwards, stood near her during the ceremony. The bride’s toilet was of pearl-col ored chiffon satin, inserted with panels of Irish point and finished on the cor sage with medallions of point lace an bands of silver embroidery. The gow was braided in a design of tiny tucli. and fitted exquisitely. Her hat of white chip, wreathed with white roses and caught with a bow of apricot silk and velvet, was very becoming. She car rled a white prayer book, with a show- er of lilies of the valley, and her only ornament was a boivknot of diamonds, given by Mr. Ellett.
