Chicago. April 13.—Wheat opened
rather nervous but llrm. There was
an early rise of l-2r with n l-4c reac
tion later on profit taking, and the
commission house* were active on both
side*. The failure of the European
markets to respond to the American
advance seemed to make little differ
ence In the tenor of the trudlng, the
dry weather In the wheat area with
reports of damage by bugs and frost
keeping the general tone good.
