The Ladles’ Auxiliary of the Y. M.
C. A. gave a reception Friday after
noon to'the new members, which was
enjoyed by all present. The vice presi
dents gave Interesting reports of their
work.

Angeles, Cal., through the efforts of our
former secretary, Mr. D. E. Luther.
Mrs. Julian Rodgers, who has re
cently visited in Company with her
husband some of the associations In
Georgia, gave a talk on th« condition
of the work throughout the state, and
new efforts being put forth, especially
In Columbus and Macon. After listen
ing with pleasure to a song by Mrs.
W. E. Qullllan and piano solo by Mrs.
Hamilton Taylor, refreshments were
served and the social hour spent in be
coming better acquainted and discus
sing Informally the needs of the young
men of Atlanta.

The dinner dance at the Capital City
Club* Saturday evening was one of ths
largest and most brilliant affairs since
Lent.
At 11 o’clock an elegant supper was
served, after which the dance contin
ued.
Among the out-of-town guests pres
ent who were much admired were:

marquise lace, made over white silk
and chiffon.
Miss Joyce's toilet was pale blue ne-
quin net. trimmed with lace.
Miss Bonney was much admired Ip a
pale corpl colored messallne, fashioned
with lace of the same color.
Mrs. Horner’s gown was a black*
chiffon satin, made empire and trimmed
with gold lace.
