A pretty party of Saturday afternoon
was thqt at which Miss Agnes Klein
entertained at hearts. The occasion
was a compliment to Miss Klein's at
tractive guest. Mies Eleanor Buckman,
of Minneapolis, and assembled about
forty of the friends of the young host-
%ss. Miss KJoln was assisted In enter
taining her guests by her mother. Mrs.
Klein, and by Mrs. William H. Me-
Alpln. Mrs. Klein wore a lingerie
gown of white mull, embroidered In
black, and Miss Klein was gowned In
white mull and lace. Miss Ruekman
wore u lingerie gown* of batiste *atnd
lace, and Mrs. McAlpin'n gown was bf
pale blue silk mull, trimmed with lace.
The prises were pretty pictures, and
the guest of honor was presented with
a book.
Mrs. Klein's home was beautifully
decorated with palms and snowballs.

tie Raymond Marlon and Mr. 8. Luther
Garrison, which occurred at Christ’s
church on the evening of the sixteenth.
The church was decorated for the oc
casion by the young ladles of the
Junior Auxiliary, of which Miss Marlon
waa a valued member.
Tall. vases of beautiful roses were
| used on the altar und the chancel was
bunked with a variety of lovely flow
ers, ferns, hyacinths and cultivated
dogwood being used In profusion. Miss
Monroe Ogren presided at the organ
and rendered 'Schubert's Serenade”
and other selections pretiou* to the
entrance of thi* bridal parly. To the
strains of "Mendelssohn's Wedding
March." the maid of honor, Miss Ella
Garrison, of Marietta, sister of the
groom, entered the rhurrh. She wore
a white bordered mull over pink

thirty altar boys of the Sacred Heart
church went up to Marietta to spend
the day.
After reaching that city the altar
boys ployed a game of baseball with
the Marietta team. Later they wero
entertained at dinner by Mrs. Mitchell,
and subsequently enjoyed a carriage
drive to Kennesaw Mountain. They
will return to Atlanta at I o'clock Sat
urday evening from their delightful
outing.
