Mr. and Mrs. Grantland Rice and lit
tle daughter arrived In Nashville the
first of the week from Cleveland, Ohio,
to make their future home here, Mr.

sporting editor on n new paper, The
Tennessean, to be launched -hare the
middle of May. They are now the
guests of Mr. Rice's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. B. II. Rice, but will keep house
after the middle of next week In an at
tractive residence In West End. As
Miss Kate Hollis, of Americus, Ga.,
Mrs. Rice has already many friends In
Nashville, having visited here before
her marriage.
The Woman’s Club of Nashville was
formally opened last Monday with an
afternoon tea for the members. The
club has attractive quarters on Church
